California Dan Lynn is a seasoned songwriter and versatile performer whose musical journey spans Americana, roots, bluegrass, blues, and rock and roll. He began in the San Francisco Bay Area, honing his skills at various bluegrass jams. His first band, The Crooked Jades, emerged from a kitchen jam in Oakland, with Dan contributing bass and vocals on their early albums. He later co-founded The Blue Water Ramblers in Michigan, with whom his songwriting began to emerge as well. In recent years, Dan's guitar work has taken center stage in the Rambler sets, and he has been stepping out on his own, performing solo as well as with a variety of young musicians in the Grand Rapids area. His journey reflects the spirit of collaboration, captivating audiences with heartfelt compositions and soulful performances across various genres.
