Love! It has to be love. A Jill Jack concert cannot exist without it. From the beginning to the end. The moment she steps on stage, it's evident in her ever present smile - the mirror to her songwriting soul. For she is home. The stage is her home. The audience invited through her songs. Each song wrapped in love and sent on its way into the crowd. And like a warm summer breeze, the love finds its way back to her in a night long circle of flight. She's living a dream. A dream few are blessed to live. It may not be perfect. Life isn't perfect. But its hers. It's who she is. What she was meant to do. Where she belongs. Every exhilarating moment on stage, a testament of God's affirmation of her purpose in life. Aware that hers is a gift to be shared, she sings her songs. Each one caressed by her voice. Her guitar breathing life into her every word. For her songs are like her children. Each one has its own story. Its own place in time. Captivating the audience as they live the moment with her. The night a witness to that special bond between the performer and her audience that she so lovingly nurtures to the last song. The hope is that she continues to write her songs. Continues to sing her songs. For we are all in constant search to find a happy place. And she is just that. A happy place!

An astonishing 44 time Detroit Music Award recipient, Jill began her professional career singing backup with well known Detroit country and rock bands. By the late 90s she was writing constantly, fronting her own band and beginning to open for what would become a long list of prominent touring acts -- Bob Seger, John Waite, Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin, Dan Fogelberg, Marshall Crenshaw, Chris Issak, and Loretta Lynn. As well she developed her reputation as headliner at venues & festivals -- SXSW (South by Southwest), Ann Arbor Folk Festival, 30A Songwriters Festival, WYCD Downtown Hoedown, Blissfest Music Festival, The Bluebird Café, The Living Room in NYC, and consistent sell-out shows at the historical Ark in Ann Arbor, MI. Regional touring has branched to successful tours of England and all over America. Jill was also a finalist in the Susanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter Showcase, and was chosen as an Americana semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition for Fallen (A Love Song). Jack now has 12 Award winning CD’s to her name.
