I am a YRT-200 Yoga teacher. I aspire to keep you enlightened and educated about what yoga can do for you, through my own journey and experiences as a yoga teacher. Not everybody can be on the same path but every body can start a journey that is designed for your own enlightenment. We have to learn that the journey requires one to "practice" a non-judgment and free of ego mindset. We call it a practice because we also have to be humbled by, not only the rise, but also the fall! Which emotion we choose to tap into when we do fall is what allows us to decide how we can continue on the right path. Consider this, take time to invest in yourself!

My path started in 2006 when I began a yoga practice with my husband. Like many it was a video in our living room and I felt so awkward! I always thought that yoga was for someone who was strong, flexible and in great shape.

As my practice grew I found I gravitated towards a very physical practice. I really didn't understand the whole mindfulness of the practice and was ready to press myself to the edge...and way over it. I quickly learned that I was in more pain than good and my heart left heavy thinking that yoga was not an activity for me any longer. Fast forward through being a "single" mom during my husbands military deployments, a Lupus diagnoses, countless moves and figuring out who I am as a women, I finally learned to release the road blocks I created and find my way through a more mindful practice with yoga. Through the ebb and flow of life I decided it was vital to find my place in yoga once again.

Tapping into my vulnerability, I immersed myself in a practice that led me to becoming a yoga teacher. Yoga has helped shape me into the person I am today...a strong, compassionate, willful and determined woman full of love and desire to share this life path not just as a yoga teacher but an always eager student.

Offering many styles of yoga such as Vinyasa, Core Strength, Thai Yoga Massage and more, I aspire to lead a yoga practice designed to meet the needs of those seeking.
